How will you ever know how far you can go?

If you continue to weave a web of fear

How will you ever know who you are?

When you ask your true self,

“What does this fear really mean to me?”

One realizes it is merely the ego that feels fear.

Our inner unchanging soul is one with all that exists.

Thus merge the soul with the ocean’s waves

Merge with the SeaLions, the fish, the dolphins, the algae …

Then watch in awe

Smile and Laugh

let your thoughts cease

and Don’t ever pull back!

 

Hummingbirds Swirled all about

Last Night I watched the moon rise

From the front doorstep

Feeling deeply connected

Calm and Peaceful, though fiery and proud;

And then tonight I sang:

It’s left or right

It’s right or wrong

It’s slow or fast

It’s all beyond

And it’s all I feel

So it must be real

Cus’ there aint nothin’ to know

‘Bout any forks in the road

Jus’ let the journey roll on

And take it all  … real  … slow …

A New Year Dawning

Out of Chaos comes pools of peace

Out of fear comes consistent mental quietude

Out of compassion

Out of vision of humanity

Came a thankful period of intimacy with mother Ocean

Thankful to feel

Be to Feel

Existence

Love

Learning

 

To enjoy the ocean’s mystery

Intrigue and Grace

Power and Perfection

Two opposites merging seamlessly

To join with this energy

To attempt to become one

Greatness lies within

Such a pursuit

If not accolades

Actually non-recognition

For rewards negate her

Perfect existence with the Tao

A superb example of The Way

She sculpts our very bodies

As we surf

She molds, and tosses us around

In an attempt to make us better people

More loving, gracious, and kind

She succeeds …

For better I feel having surfed.
